Who we share it with
We never sell your information, and we never share it with other companies for their own marketing. We use the following services to run the business, and they process information on our behalf:
- Google (email, documents, website analytics and Google Ads)
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram adverts and lead forms)
- Formspree (handles the forms on our website)
- Mailchimp (our email newsletter)
- Intuit QuickBooks (invoicing and accounts)
- Our quoting and ordering software, and our internal order tracking system (hosted by Supabase)
- Postmark (processes quote and order emails into our order system)
- Vercel (hosts this website)
We also share your measurements and order details with the suppliers who make your blinds, and we share records with our accountants. We’ll share information with the authorities if the law requires it.
Some of these services store data outside the UK, mainly in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or by standard contractual safeguards approved under UK law.
How long we keep it
- Customer records, orders and invoices: 6 years after your last order, because tax law requires it, and so we can deal with warranty claims.
- Enquiries and quotes that don’t go ahead: up to 2 years.
- Newsletter list: until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
Our website uses:
- Google Analytics: to see how many people visit and which pages they use.
- Google Ads: to measure whether our adverts lead to enquiries.
- Meta Pixel: to measure our Facebook and Instagram adverts and show adverts to people who have visited our site.
These only run if you click “Accept” on our cookie message. If you click “Reject”, none of them are set. You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on, and manage ad settings in your Google and Facebook accounts.
